Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Kotlin and Spring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Contribute to the development of new features and products
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues
- Participate in the planning and execution of projects
- Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and other backend components
- Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and other collaborative coding practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as API specs and technical guides
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure high-quality testing and validation
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the improvement of the architecture
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
