Our team at Power FM Bega Bay is seeking a skilled Labourer Plant Operator to join their crew. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery, a strong understanding of plant operations, and a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and graders, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor and maintain plant equipment, identifying and reporting any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement efficient work processes to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in plant operation and maintenance.
• Valid working at heights and confined spaces certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ability to lift 25kg and work in a physically demanding environment.
