Job Description: As a Labourer Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment on a construction site. Your duties will include:
- Operating heavy machinery, such as bulldozers and excavators, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assisting other laborers with tasks, such as moving materials and equipment.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring a safe working environment by following safety protocols and reporting any hazards to the site supervisor.
- Participating in regular site meetings and contributing to discussions on site safety and productivity.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Experience operating heavy machinery, such as bulldozers and excavators.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
