The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant operation and maintenance, with experience in operating heavy machinery and equipment. The successful applicant will be required to work at the Corrigans Beach site, with occasional travel to other locations as needed. The Labourer Plant Operators will work closely with the site’s maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.

Responsibilities of the Labourer Plant Operators include:

• Operating and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes
• Performing routine maintenance tasks on plant equipment, such as lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of worn parts
• Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new plant equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems
• Participating in safety inspections and reporting any hazards or near-miss incidents to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborating with the site’s maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance plans and schedules
• Assisting in the training and development of junior staff members to ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
