As a Labourer Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of plant and equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and the well-being of your colleagues.
- Key Responsibilities:
• Operating and maintaining plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and site-specific procedures
• Conducting regular safety checks and reporting any issues to the relevant personnel
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to site-specific housekeeping standards
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials
• Performing other tasks as directed by supervisors and management
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Labourer Plant Operator role or similar position
• A valid forklift operator’s license (or equivalent)
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads (up to 25kg)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends
• Availability to travel to various work sites as required
